We offer free legal assistance to asylum seekers and refugees in Greece and Poland. 

Our Mission

ELIL exists to uphold the rule of law, protect human rights, and ensure meaningful access to legal assistance for asylum seekers and refugees. We are driven by the belief that all refugees should receive free, independent legal support before their asylum interview. Our work is based on the principle of European solidarity; our teams of dedicated lawyers work with hundreds of volunteer lawyers from across Europe to provide expert legal assistance to refugees.
