Migrant crisis – we need a mobile advice clinic - Jonathan Goldsmith: 25 June 2018

Jonathan Goldsmith, the Law Society Council member for EU matters and a former secretary general of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe, explained in the Law Society Gazette the importance of asylum seekers having access to legal assistance. As well as mentioning European Lawyers in Lesvos as an example of an organisation providing legal assistance to asylum seekers, he advocated for a "properly resourced EU mobile legal aid clinic, moving from hotspot to hotspot as need arises, to ensure that migrants, and particularly child migrants, are appropriately advised by expert lawyers."
